Fanzines and magazines dedicated to the Beatles have been around since the band hit it big in 1963. Although the quantity of titles has decreased in recent years the quality continues to rise. The production value of some publications is so high that they've become collectible in their own right.
The internet has provided many fans and collectors with an alternate means of gathering information however many of the highest quality articles can only be found in these publications. Their editors spend considerable time distilling the flood of information into a manageable and potent bi-monthly (or more frequent) serving. I highly recommend Beatlology, Beatlefan and The World Beatles Forum. Sadly the Beatles Book Monthly ceased publication in early 2003 after nearly 40 years of serving Beatles fans around the world.
