Perry Cox's second edition price guide for collectors of Beatle and solo records, tapes and CDs is better than ever! The easier to read new edition includes updated prices and expanded listings for U.S. releases up to 1999, as well as sections on promotional items, label variations, packaging information, shrink wrap stickers and buying on the Internet. The memorabilia section is much improved, having more than doubled in size. It also contains more thorough listings of Yellow Submarine and Apple items.
The price guide includes an updated article covering Beatles autographs by Frank Caiazzo, as well as entirely new section devoted to the history of the Beatles infamous Butcher cover, co-written by Mitch McGeary. Bruce Spizer has also written a detailed article documenting the Beatles' United Artists releases.
Andrew Croft and myself have contributed a Canadian Beatles discography, the first-ever, and something which many Canadian collectors may agree was long overdue. While the first version of the Canadian section is by no means definitive, it is a start!
If you're a collector of US (or Canadian) Beatles Records and Memorabilia you will find that Perry's book is the authoritative guide and is indispensible...despite my somewhat biased opinion :-) And for those of you just looking to sell some of your old Beatles items...invest in this guide, it might just be the smartest $15 you'll spend all year.
