Dec. 21, 1964 Specification for John's new Rolls-Royce is drawn up.

June 3, 1965 Delivery of completed Rolls-Royce Phantom V, chassis No. 5.VD.73.

Oct. 26, 1965 Beatles travel to Buckingham Palace in John's Rolls to receive their M.B.E.s.

Dec. 3, 1965 John submits ambitious work order for modifications to his car.

Aug. 3, 1966 John announces his upcoming role in How I Won the War.

Aug. 15, 1966 The Rolls-Royce is prepared for a 'continental tour.'

Nov. 7, 1966 The Rolls-Royce returns to England and enters the shop for extensive repairs.

May 25, 1967 John takes delivery of his extravagantly re-painted Phantom V.

May 28, 1967 Brian Epstein hosts a housewarming party, the Rolls leads a Beatle convoy.

Jun. 25, 1967 The Rolls-Royce is disqualified from the Concours d'elegance rally in London.

Sep. 19-24, 1967 John and his Rolls are at West Malling airfield in Kent filming Magical Mystery            

                                        Tour, including the I am the Walrus segment.

Jan., 1968                 John's Rolls is shipped to America, and has never returned.

Oct. 9, 1971 John, Yoko, George, Ringo (and the Rolls) spotted in Syracuse, NY.

Dec., 1977                 John and Yoko donate the car to the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in NY.

Oct. 3/78 - Jan. 7/79 Rolls exhibited as part of Ornament in the 20th Century exhibit.

Jun. 29, 1985 The Cooper-Hewitt Museum auctions the Rolls-Royce at Sotheby's in NY. 

                                         It’s purchased by Canadian billionaire Jimmy Pattison for US$2,200,000.

May 2 - Oct. 13/86 Car transported to Vancouver, BC and exhibited at Expo '86.

Aug. 4 1986 Mr. Pattison donates the Rolls to 'Her Majesty the Queen in Right of the 

                                         Province of British Columbia.' Title is transferred to the Royal B.C. Museum.

May 17, 1987 The Rolls moves into its new home at the Historic Transportation Centre 

                                         (H.T.C.) in Cloverdale, BC.

Nov., 1988                   A mysterious 8mm home movie is discovered under one of the seats.

Mar. 20, 1990 The H.T.C. stages an elaborate April Fools joke with the Phantom V as bait.

Mar. 31, 1993 The H.T.C. is closed and the Rolls-Royce is moved to Victoria, B.C.

Nov. 25/95 - Feb. 25/96  Rolls exhibited at Museum of Man & Nature in Winnipeg, MN.

Mar. 9 - Sept. 2/96 Rolls exhibited at the National Museum of Science and Technology in 

                                          Ottawa, Ontario.

May 15/97 - Feb. 28/98   Rolls exhibited at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.

Sep. 9, 1999 Photographed extensively, in Victoria, B.C., for Beatlology Magazine.
